North East London Community Eyecare is the provider arm of the two Local Optical Committees in the area and is set up to run Community Services across North East London.

MECS (Minor Eye Conditions Service) is an NHS funded service available to all patients aged 5 and over registered with a North-East London GP. The service is designed for the assessment and treatment of recently occurring medical eye conditions.
The service is provided by local optometrists with the specialist knowledge and skills to carry out this work. Details of optometrists providing the service can be found by clicking the button below.
